Tour Details

Day -1

Arrive in Kolkata by international flight and our representative will assist you at the airport and transfer to the hotel at noon. Start for Kolkata sight scene and night stay at kolkata.

Days - 2

Early morning start to Balasore in Orissa district (4 hrs journey) and transfer to Orissa tourism hotel. In the afternoon enjoy the beach of Chandipur and overnight stay in Chandipur.

Days - 3

Early morning drive to Chandbali and from their see the Bhitarkanika forest. Night stay in Dangamala forest.

Days - 4

Udayagiri
Back to Chandbali again then from there drive to Bhubaneswar enroute visit to Lalitgiri, Ratnagiri and Udaygiri. Night stay at Bhubaneswar.

Days - 5

Bhubaneswar sight scene enroute visit Dhauli, Pipili (applique village) and the Konark sun temple. Night stay in puri.

Days -6

Puri local sight scene and Raghurajpur painting village, night stay in puri.

Days -7 (Satpada-Rambha)

Early morning start to Chilika Lake (Satapada)-the pear shape lake spread over 1100 sq km is Asia’s largest in-land salt water lagoon. It is dotted with Small Island and has an impressive array of bird life both native and migratory. Chilika is also famous for the dolphins. Overnight halt at Rambha (tourist Panthanivas).

Days -8 (Rambha-Gopalpur-Taptapani)

Early morning drive to Gopalpur Sea, an ancient sea port. Sand dunes, groves of coconut palm and casuarinas separate the small town from beach. Night halt in Taptapani and enjoy the hot sulphur bath in hotel.

Days -9 - Taptapani to Rayagada (210kms/5hrs)

Rayagada- the tribal belt of Orissa, where you can see the tribal people who live on the hill top. Each has a distinct language and pattern of social and religious customs. Though economically changed and a very low rate of literacy, the tribal groups have highly developed artistic skills. Night halt in Rayagada.

Days -10 - Rayagada-Kothgarh-Rayagada (110kms/3-4hrs on way)

Today’s excursion would be to Kothgarh tribal area to visit Kutia kandha tribes. Many of them speak Kuvi, a language derived from the Dravidian strain of southern India. Return to Rayagada for night halt. (Market only on Tuesday)

Days -11 - Rayagada – Chatikona-Jaypore (240kms/7-8hrs)

The morning drive today is to Jeypore.enroute at Chatikona we visit a few Dongria Kandha villages. This is a very primitive tribe. They live at the top of the mountains. Night stay at Jeypore. (Market is only on Wednesday)

Days -12 - Aypore-Onukudelli-Jeypore (180kms/4-5hrs)

After breakfast we drive and visit the home of the approximately 6000 members of fierce bondas (naked people) of Tibetan Burmese origin. They live in the remote hills and keep them isolated. (Market only on Thursday)

Days -13 - Jaypore-Kunduli-Jaypore (130km/4-5hrs)

Today drive 65 kms to Kunduli via Sunabeda, to visit the tribal villages of Paraja and Mali the weekly market is among the biggest and most colorful in the region the Parajas are one of the well known major tribes of Orissa ,they are broadly divided in two sections, bada Paraja & sana Paraja. Men usually wear lion cloths, napkins and women wear coarse and cheap sarees. Overnight stay in jeypore. (Market is only on Friday)

Days -14 - Jaypore-Gupteswar-Vishakhapatnam (225kms/6-7hrs)

After breakfast drive to Gupteswar to visit the Dhruba tribal village they are the oldest tribes of Orissa and found in the Koraput district of Orissa. Overnight stay at Visakapatnam. (Market is only on Saturday)

Days -15 - Vishakhapatnam Local Sight Scene

After breakfast visit Simanchalam temple near Visakapatnam is one of the most important Vaishnavite shrines of south India. It has Sri Varahalaxmi Narasimha swami as the presiding duties eastern Ganga king Narasimha built the central shrine in 1267 ad. With more than 252 inscriptions describing the antecedents of the temple it is historically important.
